Shaykh Muhammed Reza studied Computer Science at City University from 2002 to 2004. He completed a BA in Islamic Studies at the Islamic College for Advanced Studies (ICAS) between 2004 and 2007. He also studied at the Islamic Seminary in London from 2004 to 2009.

Shaykh Muhammed Reza studied Advanced Arabic at the Arabic Language Centre, University of Damascus from 2007 to 2008.

He compiled and translated a collection of Prophetic narrations on the subject of 'Zakat’ in a work entitled ‘The Sublime Purification’. This was published by The World Federation in 2009.

He completed an MA in Islamic Studies at ICAS between 2009 and 2010. He also taught spiritual ethics based upon the book al-Haqaa'iq by Muhsin Faydh al-Kaashaani and Arabic grammar at the Islamic Seminary in London in 2010.
