Mohamed Zamin is currently undergoing his fourth year of Islamic studies having spent a year in Qum in 2008 and a year in Damascus in 2009. Whilst in Syria, in addition to his Islamic seminary studies, he studied Arabic at the Arabic Language Centre, University of Damascus.

Currently he is enrolled in the third year of a five-year program with the Islamic College for Advanced Studies (ICAS), a program which will culminate in an MA in Islamic Studies.
