With regards to interacting with Allah with proper etiquette, the following maxim opens up a new door of understanding on how we should communicate with Allah:
Feeling a sense that you have betrayed someone during a moment of purity and closeness with them is itself a betrayal of them (al-jaf’aa inda as-saf’aa jaf’aaon)
